Summer. One of the words I look forward to hearing all year. For some people it means no homework, for others vacation, for others resting, and for others FUN. All of these meanings come together when i hear or think of the word summer. It’s a whole new advernture every year. Whether you’ll visit some place you have never been before, meet new people, or even have a new crush. You never know with summer. This not knowing makes it really exciting. And of course, seeing your friends and spending endless hours hanging out with them. This was an amazingly awesome summer for me. I visited the transparent-sea and white-sand beach of Los Cabos. It was exactly how it was described in those tourism magazines. Actually, even better than that! I also went to my favorite city. You guessed right, Mexico City. I enjoy being in that city so much I can’t even describe it. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was noticing how the environment was being damaged. The polluted gray air now covers what used to be beautiful blue skies. As I sat in my seat and listened to the flight attendant announcing our descence, I looked through the window and couldn’t see much of the endless city. It was covered in a darkened gray mist that blocked my view of the city. It is very sad how all the waste from vehicles and factories has accumulated. Apart from that, the city was as fun as it’s always been. Then, I came back to beautiful, green-coverered Costa Rica. What makes this exciting is that now I’ll be staying to start High School with my friends here. That completed my summer! I was sitting here remembering my summer memories, and I just realized we only have a week left of this every day happiness! No, it can’t be possible! I like school, but when it’s compared to summer. Pff! There’s not even a comparation to do. At least I now know I’m going to start school with my friends and know I have a lot of summer memories to look back.
