I also like songs because of their lyrics, but normally I choose them because of the beat and melody. There is one song I know that is about the things that are happening in the world. This song was written by Tupac, and it is called changes. This song has a bit of fowl language, but just listen to the lyrics, don't pay attention to the bad words. Also there is another song that I like, because of the beat, rhythm, and melody. This song has really crazy lyrics because they don't make any sense! That song is called Daydreamin' by Lupe Fiasco. I also think that without lyrics, there is no song. Sure there are great piano and guitar solos, but it is the lyrics that give you that poetic feeling. I also agree that songs make you feel a certain way. Whenever I hear a hardcore metal song, I always seem angrier, but when it is a smooth song, I am at peace. I also think that love songs are a great way for artists to send messages. I as well think that most lyrics have meaning. I also think that without lyrics, there is no song.
